Slocan Rail Links Hope To Tap Rich Ore District
W C Haywood reports to the Seattle Telegraph that the Slocan district awaits two railway lines the CPR Revelstoke branch and the Kaslo road to unlock ore shipments. Twenty mines now ship to Everett Tacoma Denver Omaha and Swansea with a probable $12 per ton rate and ore values rising as veins widen.
