Oregon hunters can pursue openings from September to December with multiple seasons. Pigeon dove and grouse led outdoor sports, bow and arrow archery started September 12, and the buck deer season begins October 3 followed by a four day either sex starting October 17, then migratory waterfowl and elk seasons. Final elk openings occur in November with the Lewis and Clark elk season.
