Rotary Governor Schuppel Addresses Myrtle Point Club
William Carl Schuppel of Portland, District 162 Rotary Governor, told Myrtle Point Rotarians the world must build good will and understanding to live peacefully. He highlighted Rotary’s efforts via the Paul Harris Memorial Fund and Rotary Foundation to send future leaders abroad and bring foreigners to the United States. He noted Den Cate of Forest Grove won a scholarship and will soon study at the University of Bern, Switzerland.
