Coos County Great Decisions Council Formed
A Coos County Great Decisions 1958 Council was organized at a meeting in Coquille with Western Regional Director Chas O Brien of the Foreign Policy Association present. Preston Willis was elected president Iris Olsen secretary and Ernest Payne treasurer. Community chairmen will join the county visions council to coordinate events, film schedules and materials distribution. An organizing meeting is planned for October.

Promotion meet outlines Great Decisions program
Community meetings are planned across the county to explain Great Decisions and form discussion groups. Last year Oregon hosted over 400 groups with state extension service and Foreign Policy Association backing. The 1958 eight week program starts February 2 with a State Advisory Council and partners including KGW TYV and Portland groups.
