Woolsey, a OB graduate, previously worked for seven months at Bend Daily Bulletin and will reside with the Van Sumeriin family on South Fourth street. Dye has been with the Herald two years and will move to Crescent City.

At the regular Myrtle Point Woman's club meeting in city hall the members voted to give a Thanksgiving basket this year instead of a Christmas one. Six percent of all funds will be directed to a future project. J Arthur Berg of Coquille spoke on upcoming measures. About 50 women attended. A Halloween motif adorned decorations with jack o lanterns and black and yellow tapers. Next meeting on November 25 will honor the teaching staff. entertainment by local members.
