Highway Plan Outlined by Coos County Legislator
Hon Ralph T Moore Coos County representative and Highway Interim Study Committee chair outlined a $1.5 million Coquille to Coos Bay highway project and county wide modernization goals. He said final committee report due around November 15 proposes an appraisal of current roads and costs for modernization with implementing legislation for the 1949 legislature and possible mid 1949 start. Public education efforts aim for early approval to avoid delays.
