Bob Doerr second baseman for the Boston Red Sox and his wife were business visitors in Myrtle Point on Friday en route to their winter fishing and hunting home at Agness Oregon. Doerr plans to stay at Agness on the Rogue River until February when he will rejoin the team in Sarasota Florida for spring training. He praised Walter Johnson as baseball's greatest pitcher from his view facing him in the past.
