Myrtle Point Bobcats were overwhelmed by the Bandon Tigers 26 0 at Bandon last Saturday. The game featured heavy penalties and a flurry of long drives with Bandon grabbing nine first downs to Myrtle Point seven while Myrtle Point completed all seven passes for 68 yards. Hall and Carver starred for Myrtle Point on returns and defense but could not prevent Bandon from scoring twice in the first half and adding two more in the third quarter to seal the win.

Auto Fire After Luncheon Near West Norway
A car carrying Mrs May Tyrell of Berkeley Mrs Amry Mintonye and daughter Joan of Bandon Miss Jennie Lafferty and Mr Prey of Coquille caught fire on the way home from a luncheon at the S L Lafferty residence in West Norway Friday.
