Meat Inspection Campaign Reports Condemnations in Nine Plants
J F Short, director of the state department of agriculture, announced that in the second pilot meat inspection across Coos Union and Wallowa counties four animals were condemned as unfit for human consumption after slaughter. Of 662 animals checked 351 cattle 93 calves 35 sheep 183 swine were inspected with 226 livers and 10 heads condemned.
