Needle Passage Through Child Ends Without Surgery
Nola Rae Christy, year old daughter of Mr and Mrs H B Christy, was moved from Mast hospital to the Christy home after a week of observation for a sewing needle passing through her alimentary canal. Despite two X rays, the needle could not be located, leading staff to believe it paused through the intestines without embedding. The child showed no pain and will not need an operation, delighting her family and care team.

Unwelcome guest fined and jailed in city court
