Yates Home at Arago Destroyed by Fire
Arago, Obe November 11 The John Yates home was completely destroyed by fire Tuesday evening about six o clock. The blaze started when a lighted candle fell against the wall and ignited wallpaper. All household goods were destroyed and the house was uninsured.

Bridge Run Has Close Call With Hudson Sedan Wreck
O B Murray of Bridge sustained injuries after his Super Eight Hudson ran off the highway near Camas valley Sunday night. The car rolled twice and stopped at the canyon edge above the river. It was towed to the L H Pearce garage badly damaged with crushed fenders running boards and a likely bent frame.
