Herald Schedules Ahead for Thanksgiving Week
The Herald will publish on Wednesday before Thanksgiving with a Monday noon deadline for next week’s submissions. Office hours close Wednesday at noon and reopen Monday, Nov. 29. A 25-year-old Myrtle Point man, Card Rogers, was charged with possession of a dangerous drug in a case involving 2,400 pills known as crees tops. Police Chief Jim Overhuls said he was arrested Nov. 11 and the case remains under investigation.
