State and Inter im Panel Approve Long Range Plan for College
Wilfred A. Jordan and Dr Wendell L Van announce joint approval by the state board of education and the interim legislative committee in Astoria of a long range development plan for South Western College through 1973. The plan allocates funds for a new Vocational-Technical building on the Empire campus, estimated at 300000 dollars with 225000 provided by the state and 75000 by the district, construction to start once arrangements are in place.
