North Bend’s Chas Wm Forrest and Marshfield’s Eleanor R Brown obtained a license at the courthouse on Saturday.
Nurse Hazel Langlois of Coquille Hospital was injured when her car veered off the Bandon highway near Coquille Tuesday morning. She suffered a dislocated hip.
Albert Yedd was arrested on October 30 for repeat driving offenses.

After the regular Odd Fellows gathering last Wednesday, members and Una Rebekah lodge attendees shared a potluck supper. The social meal followed the evening’s activities and brought together the two groups.
Mr and Mrs John Belloni have purchased the Al Neideigh residence and plan remodeling before moving in mid month. The Whitsett family vacated to the Gus Breuer house on lower Maple street, leaving the Neideigh property ready for updating.
The Christian Endeavor society of the Church of Christ held a costume Hallowe'en party Wednesday night in the church social rooms. Members enjoyed the event and stayed out late, making merry.

Emerson Whitney of Catching Creek community attempted to save a car rolling down a grade at Del Remo. He was thrown unconscious after the vehicle rolled over several times and remained in a coma for hours. Dr Rankin of Coquille treated him and he was moved to his sister’s home the next day. The auto was badly damaged.
After a library board meeting, Mrs E C Barker resigns as librarian and Mrs Belle Whitaker is appointed to finish the term. The October report notes the library’s status and ongoing operations with adult services highlighted.
