Chapman named to federal law enforcement commission staff
Multnomah County Undersheriff Samuel G. Chapman son of Mrs Bue Hentze of Myrtle Point was named by Sheriff Donald E. Clark to join the Presidents Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Justice in Washington. Chapman 36 will resign Dec 1 to serve an 18 month term as project director in the Law Enforcement Task Force. The commission was created by executive order July 327 1965 with Attorney General Katzenbach as chairman. Chapman's salary is expected to be about 16000 annually.
