The Myrtle Grange hall hosted a visit by Arthur Brown state grange deputy of Salem who spoke to members and recalled earning degree work 32 years ago. Alternates Hugh MacLean were elected, with Mrs Walter Laird in charge of the lecture, and visitors Henry Grange of Coquille and Mr Wheeler of Camas Valley attended. Refreshments followed the program.

West Norway Visitors Share Weekend Callers

The Lanes and Kenneth Lane returned home with the Myers, staying overnight and Sunday. This marks the Myerses first outing since illness. Mrs. Otis Smith sang several numbers with piano by Miss Zella May Moon. A pie social is planned for Friday at 8 o clock to raise funds for delegates to the national convention in St Louis next month. Report Fine Catch On Fishing Trip Return Monday
Returning Monday evening from an annual fishing trip, Myrtle Point High School faculty report excellent catches on the Rogue River. The group included Principal L. P. Linn and others, after leaving Thursday morning. Miss Mary Margaret Woodward, an apprentice teacher from Oregon State College, will take a position in Grants Pass next year. George Hall departed for Ashland to spend the summer at his home.
