Auxiliary officers selected were Jeanette Collier president Rouse Shilling vice Theresa Pointer secretary Lulu Jarvis treasurer. Installation planned at the next meeting and the Auxiliary voted to send clothing and food packages to a girl in France with donations managed by Lulu Jarvis.

Prizes awarded for best costumes themed Clean-up Week and marching participants receive popsicles after the event. Two Men Hurt In Monday Junction Jeep Crash
A jeep carrying three passengers failed to make a turn at Powers junction early Monday. It struck the Frazier Hoffman garage underpinning, spilled over the bank, sending Orville Marr and Harry Lewis to the local hospital. The third passenger received cuts and bruises. The jeep belonged to George Willing of Myrtle Creek lumber company. Bob Shields was treated on scene. Authorities noted injuries to the two men were not yet known.
