Fifty drivers were granted licenses last Thursday May 20 at the city tally according to Ward McReynolds state examiner of operators and chauffeurs. Ten applicants failed the written Oregon motor laws or driving test and were urged to study for the next test to be announced later. The district boundary board on Monday decided to assign sections 1 to 5 and 8462 between Rock and Wooden Rak creeks to the Bridge district, ending a dispute with Powers over apportionment. Sunday Fire Causes Minor Damage at Hazelwood Home
