After four months of talks School District 41 and Myrtle Point Education Association moved toward a tentative three year contract. The main sticking point was a just cause clause and how it defines administration authority. Salary increase cited around 7.4 percent plus fringe benefits, with 5 to 10 negotiable items yearly. Final draft hoped by mid next week after member discussion.
