Several hundred names of service personnel from Myrtle Point and nearby communities have been received for the service honor roll. The Chamber of Commerce sponsors the project to compile a complete roster of local armed forces members. Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Jane Nussel 70 were held at Schrode Broder Brod funeral chapel in Coquille. She died in Portland on Monday. Interment will be in the Norway cemetery. Mrs. Nussel lived much of her life in the area.
