Fifth Annual County Music Festival Slated in Coquille
April 22 set for the Fifth Annual County Music Festival to be held in the new high school gym in Coquille. The Coos County Fair Association boards set dates for the annual fair electing officers. Meeting Tuesday night in Myrtle Point with President Ellis Osment presiding elected Dement as President and Leon Perree as Secretary-Treasurer with A H Power as Vice President. The 1938 fair results were reviewed and plans outlined to boost entries and start the premium list. Next board meeting scheduled for April 1 in Marshfield with directors from Coquille, Marshfield, Myrtle Point and others.
