Laurin Hatcher of Coquille High School topped the girls in local and district levels, receiving a $100 bond and a $400 district prize, while runner-up Sheri Schneider of Coquille High School earned a $50 bond.

The State Department of Environmental Quality opens a Coos County office at Virginia Center West 1860 Virginia Room 4 North Bend.
