Ash Street Home Damaged by Fire

At 500 a.m. Saturday fire gutted rooms in the Roeslow residence at 7 Ash Street. Mrs H G Rosslow escaped a smoke filled second floor room after waking to flames. Firemen battled for three hours to extinguish and another hour to cleanup as roof was chopped to reach the blaze. No injuries. a downstairs tenant woke from the commotion. Damage likely exceeds ten thousand dollars.
