MPHS Grad Killed In Own Plane Near Centralia
Benton Luttrell, a Myrtle Point area resident and MPHS graduate, died in a plane crash near Centralia Washington on Saturday. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Jean Luttrell of Corvallis and had relatives in Broad Bend Myrtle Point and nearby towns. Funeral services were held in Corvallis Tuesday and his sister Elizabeth Luttrell taught in Myrtle Point schools for several years.
