Trailer home gutted. Libbett family seeks aid after fire
The Libbett trailer at Spruce Street East was destroyed by fire last Wednesday evening with all furnishings lost. No insurance and unknown fire start. Myrtle Point fire department saved the framework. The family of six, including four sons, is staying with Mrs. Libbett’s sister, Mrs. Harry Cox, while donations of furniture and clothing are urged. Stray Dogs to Be Picked Up in Myrtle Point

The Garden Club's second annual flower display attracted 260 attendees.
