May Auto Accident Sparks Damage Suit In Oregon

Coquille Girl Severely Injured in Highway Accident
Miss Grace Ricketts of Coquille suffered multiple broken ribs and internal injuries when the car she rode in on the Coquille Bandon highway was forced off the road and overturned into a swamp. She was operated on at Knife hospital in Coquille. Driver Lyle Varney escaped uninjured.

Cars Interlock in Powers. Passenger Severely Hurt
Wilfred Aber of Powers suffered serious injuries when a crash between a Wilson driven car and a Mathis vehicle near Morris Lane left Aber ejected over a barbed wire fence. Former MPHS Star Joins Marines
Thomas L. Ostrander son of Mrs. Maude Ostrander of Myrtle Point has enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in Portland and trained at San Diego for three months. After training he will be sent to duty aboard a battleship or with existing Marine units.
