Powers High Students Earn Scholarships and Club News
Richard Spitznass won a four year scholarship from the Oregon State system aimed at dentistry at the University of Oregon. Robert McMahon earned a $150 scholarship at the University of Portland, and Edmond Magill received $100 from SW Oil Information. The Powers Lions Club welcomed Alan Rhay as president with a slate of officers. Memorial and social events were noted, with many members and families listed as attendees and relatives.
