Sixty six Myrtle Point High graduates received diplomas in an elaborate ceremony. Students in caps and gowns formed a processional as the high school band played. Rev Norman Stockett gave the invocation and Sharon Ansley and another student spoke as valedictorian and salutatorian. Superintendent Gareth Goddard introduced Dr John Schulz, who spoke on The Challenge for Tomorrow urging pursuit of higher education and lifelong success.
