Summers ends assignment Navy Airman Edward Summers
Navy Airman Edward Summers son of Mr and Mrs Edward Summers of Pleasant Valley Myrtle Point completed an eight month deployment aboard the nuclear powered attack aircraft carrier USS Enterprise. They trained in the Pacific and Indian Oceans and assisted in evacuations disasters including Mauritius cyclone relief. Riddleman Named New Myrtle Point High Principal
August 2 report states Riddleman, 40, former principal at Hiddle for eight years, is elected to become Myrtle Point High principal. He will be confirmed after the school board meets Monday evening. Roe, Montana graduate, has served as junior high principal at Riddle and senior high vice principal. Roe has eight years at Moline in Klamath County and holds a Master in Education from Southern Oregon College.
