V Mail Sheets Now Available at Myrtle Point Post Office

USO Fund Drive Nets Over 550 Dollars

Rubber Drive Ends Tomorrow in Nationwide War Effort
A final mobilization drives Americans to collect rubber for the war, with Roosevelt backing a nationwide effort stretched to July 10. Industrial plants and businesses in the city urge workers to surrender all rubber items, not just scraps, to support front line troops. William F. 350 Men Listed 6th Registration
Approximately 850 men were signed up in the Coquille Valley Selective Service district in the fifth registration held June 30. About 100 are CCC enrollees, who will be drafted through their home offices and are in the 18 and 19 year old groups, not subject to draft now.
