New street sweeper arrives as Myrtle Point budget passes
City budget approved by voters funds a new street sweeper and planned street sign posts. City Administrator Jim Howe announced the order and said the vehicle will arrive soon at Myrtle Point. He also outlined paving of Fifth and Spruce and Fourth and Spruce intersections and stop sign upgrades. The chamber voted to contribute 985 to the Babe Ruth team for tournament costs. Dr John Keslock announced the next board meeting at Twobbies Restaurant at noon.
