The Myrtle Point Townsend club held its regular weekly session at the Townsend hall Sunday at 2 o'clock with vice president E W Buckner presiding. Mr and Mrs E C Arnot of North Bend attended. 22 members were present. Officers were nominated for the year and election set for January 27 29. Ruth Marie Culbertson an 11 year old Gravelford girl daughter of L B Lige Culbertson was seriously injured last Tuesday when she fell from a woodpile. She sustained a ruptured spleen and received two blood transfusions at Mas hospital while recovering under care.

Road Department Plans New Bridge Near Future

Sandy Creek House Razed Last Week
The Henry Wyrick family home on Sandy Creek, occupied six years, was razed last Thursday around 830 pm while Mr and Mrs Wyrick were at the Remote schoolhouse. Sons Gilbert and Clifford saw the blaze from the barn 200 yards away and saved only a stove. One boy suffered severe burns and was taken to Mast hospital. Jennings plans to rebuild on the site. Mrs Barrett Zins and L B Jennings helped sew for the family at the I B England home.
