In town, Mae and colleagues promoted a budget and scouting work, with praise for efforts on town projects. The Myrtle Senator spoke on dairy farming while fathers and sons attended. Several canyons roads were blocked but cleared by morning.
The New Assembly of God church in Myrtle Point will dedicate its new building at 2 30 PM Sunday at Willow and Fourth streets. Delegations are expected from Coquille Marshfield Bandon North Bend Winchester Bay Reedsport and surrounding counties. The church is described as a beautiful edifice fully equipped to carry on church work.
