Spargo outlined Mountain States Power Co improvements for the Myrtle Point area in 1983 including a 68 000 volt transmission line from Norway to Myrtle Point and a new substation to step 69 000 volts down to 19 000. He noted recent completion of the Norway substation at about 200 000 and a 69 000 volt line to Coquille at about 70 000.
