Cecil Barker died in Spokane from pneumonia at age 81. Born in Myrtle Point, he graduated from Union High School in 1833 and the University of Oregon in 1937 with a business degree. He belonged to Phi Sigma Kappa and the Scabbard and Blade and ran a large piano firm with C. E. Hellenbeck in Spokane.
