Nearly all roads closed by the county court a week ago have been repaired and reopened to log and lumber trucking. The court reports repair work by saw mills and camps affected by the closure. Some western roads and the Catching Creek road above Ward Creek will reopen this week. Other roads remain open with warning closures if conditions deteriorate. The closure caused about 200 mill layoffs and a payroll over 70 000 dollars monthly in the Myrtle Point area.
