Coos County Fair Board Elects 1948 Officers at Myrtle Point
Scholders of the Coos County Fair association held their annual meeting in Myrtle Point Saturday afternoon electing officers. Clausen returns as president with Roper as vice president Browne named treasurer and temporary secretary after Roper’s resignation. Directors named include Clinton Dement Miller, Pomona Orange, and local chamber reps. The 1948 fair dates August 20 to 22 were set to avoid the state fair. A full time secretary and a summer promoter were approved. Next meeting set for March on the line between Coos Bay and North Bend.
