Gaylord Man Hainey Dies After Long Illness
William Pinkerton Hainey of Gaylord died Sunday after long decline in health. Born September 6 1860 in Gilford Missouri he married Norah Wilson in Savannah Missouri on March 13 18. He leaves three sons one grandson and a sister and brother. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 30 a.m. at Schroeder Funeral Home with interment in Norway cemetery. A Myrtle Point Masonic group will pallbear.

Amnesia Victim Accepts Job at Miller Jogging Camp
Melden DeVaul who disappeared eight years ago and suffered amnesia returned to Myrtle Point for the first time Tuesday. He stayed with his mother in Portland until recently and recalling none of his local relatives. He has taken a position at the Miller Jogging camp and began work there Wednesday.

Seriously ill W oH Ham Bunch suffered a stroke about 11 o clock Sunday night and was rushed to Mast hospital where he has received medical attention since. Relatives learned of his condition as Miss Minatee Bunch arrived from Salem to be at his bedside and Walter Bunch from Walla Walla, Wash. The elderly man, former Coos county school superintendent for about 20 years, was widely known in the area.
