Two Myrtle Point youths escape in wild auto crash

In Coquille on a Saturday dawn, 20 year olds David Morris and Lawrence Phillips were passengers in a car that hit a bridge abutment. They were hospitalized with noncritical injuries. driver Clarence Miller escaped unhurt. Police pursued the vehicle at about 2 am as it failed to turn, likely traveling 70 to 86 mph.

Reverend John Parrish To Lead Myrtle Point Bible School

Reverend John Parrish, pastor of the First Caristlam church, was selected by the Inter-Church Fellowship to head the Myrtle Ames ally vacation Bible school in Myrtle Point.
