Two Teens Fined For Speed Contest On Highway 42
Alen Lyne Laird and Wilmer Elton Stidham, both 18, were arrested December 23 on charges of holding a speed contest on Highway 42 inside the north city limits. Each was fined $10 with $69 of the fine suspended. Brenda Nichols hosted a social afternoon on Tuesday December 28 for friends home from college for Christmas vacation.
