New County Hospital Opens With Press Dinner at Fairview
The county hospital at Fairview opened with a formal ceremony and a full course turkey dinner hosted by Mr and Mrs Fred McNelly for county court officials and press representatives. Fire sparked by overheated stove damages Al Court Wright home
Tuesday evening at 6 38 a stove overheated causing a small blaze in the Al Court Wright residence on Fourth street. The fire damaged the house with an estimated loss of 50 dollars and was insured. The alarm did not provoke panic as Tuesday is regular fire practice night and firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.
