The Myrtle Point Veneer mill in Norway now runs its 38 workers on a night shift from 8 p m to 4 30 p m to reduce daytime power use. Manager O C Davenport, visiting Myrtle Point, says the mill peels about 300 000 feet of logs monthly and invites a Herald tour in the future. Davenport also renewed his Herald subscription and praised the paper.
