A flood swamped the Spruce Street area with high water near the Clyde Lillie residence. The Lillie home sat well above road level but was surrounded by five to five-and-a-half feet of water. The couple reported 134 inches inside the house, far above prior floods, as automatic appliances were pushed out and hoses used to rinse them.
