Coquille Youth Rescued After Drowning Near Miss
A Coquille picnic at La Verne park Sunday ended in a near tragedy as 12 year old Gilbert Pettingill slipped from the bank into about 15 feet of water. Theodore Easty and Donald Phillips pulled him to shore where he was revived.
