Funeral services for Homer Ray Jones were held at Schroeders chapel with Rev Dorman L officiating. He was born February 20, 1886 in Bowling Green Missouri and died August 2 at Mast hospital at age 76. He had lived in Powers since 1935, moving from Bremerton Washington, and was a member of the JOOF and Rebekah lodges of Freemont Washington. He is survived by his wife Ethel of Powers and brothers Max, Jay, and Art Jones, and sister Jennie (Gasinger) of Bremerton, Washington. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Park.
