Railway excursion between Myrtle Point and Powers proposed
Pacific and Coos Bay Lumber Company runs excursion trains in Eden Ridge and Powers area starting 1980. Two round trips July 8 with departures from Myrtle Point depot at 9:80 a.m and 1 p.m and a Sunday 1 p.m trip if demand allows a 9 a.m run may be added. Train uses five commuter coaches from Southern Pacific and open air cars built by G P crews. Advance sign up to avoid delays.
