Breuer to Lead Physical Therapy at Coos Bay Hospital
John Breuer will head the physical therapy department at the new Coos Bay Area Hospital. Native of Myrtle Point, he earned a Bs in science math from Southern Oregon College and a physical therapy certificate from the University of Pennsylvania. He and wife Joanne Nichols reside in Coos Bay with their son. The Myrtle Point High alumnus completed clinical work at multiple Philadelphia and Portland hospitals. A public slide history event at Myrtle Crest Gym on May 7 will be hosted by the Myrtle Point Schools social studies department.

Kindergarten registration and county waste plan outlined
Kindergarten registration for fall classes runs until Friday April 26 from 9 AM to 6 PM at the Myre de Point Kindergarten room Boydscout Building Railroad Ave. A county waste management plan recommends transfer stations and landfill sites across Coos and Curry counties with a new Solid Waste Management Council and administrator to coordinate committees, consultants, collectors, and operators.
