Oregon Pigs Sent To China
A shipment of breeding pigs assembled by the animal husbandry department at Oregon State College arrived in China where they have been ordered for use by government colleges to improve the swine there. Bandon Youths Arrested On Breaking And Entering Charge
Three Bandon youths Malcolm Duncan 17 Robert Ostrander 23 and Wilfred Ashton 21 were taken into custody late last Wednesday on a charge of breaking into and entering a Bandon garage. Many articles were missing from the garage though none could be located in their possession. Ostrander and Ashton posted 9600 bonds and were released Tuesday, while Duncan remains in custody.
