City To Purchase Bonds With Available Funds

Catching Creek Residents Protest Roads To Court

Lions Club Hosts Sixty Nine Students On Train Trek
Sixty nine junior and union high school students visited Eugene on a Freedom Train trek last Saturday joining four Lions Club chaperones. Two Greyhound buses transported the group from Myrtle Point at 7 15 am returning about 8 pm. Students stood in line for three and a half hours in rain hail and snow to view the train. Lions organizers had hoped for about 90 participants but Spring vacation reduced turnout.

Remodeling Of Etalka School Voted Down
A special meeting at Etalka school house Friday night voted on a proposed remodeling of a former classroom into a three room living space for a teacher.
