Grace Cushing earned fourth place and Stephen Farmer fifth among Oregon high school seniors in the Most Valuable Students finals held March 29 at the Toledo Elks Lodge. They won scholarships totaling 1 530 and a $100 savings bond from the Coquille Valley Elks Lodge. their proceeds go to the national contest for further judging.
